Nope! Today is a big day in our house. Jordan started 8th grade, Maxwell is in 3rd grade at a new school, and my little one met with his Kindergarten teacher. :( So please excuse my tardiness on our Monday Challenge: sewing. Ironically, I picked the challenge this week. :) My machine is broken so I borrowed my mom's and was excited to put it to a little use. It is different than my own and I can't figure out how the change the stitch yet but it was fun pushing the pedal! :) Hope you are all having a great MONDAY! :)
Are you ready for a brand new online craft store, Torendi? The official opening will be September 9th and it is chock-full of fresh, modern, and fun products. I am excited to be a guest on the design team so I will be sharing all sorts of TORENDI stuff with you! :) What an honor it is to be working with Jenn & Tiffany! :) Be sure to follow along on the BLOG....you won't want to miss any of the excitement! :)
Hip Hop! You are gonna LOVE this new Scrapbooking Kit from Unity! Le Chic Vintage is available September 1st.
I used the kit (along with the Just My Type & Frame This Alpha) to make a journal about my year 2009. It is a place to write about my year...what I did and learned. I left room to add to it as the year progresses.
What an amazing group of people at Unity! Seriously some of the best! Today is my spotlight over on the Unity blog so I thought I would spotlight the amazing people of Unity. The majority of pictures are posted HERE but I took some others. This project is not done....I still have a Jimmi page, Buck page, Jeanne page & Lisa & Sherry & a dt page to do. I will share those when it is complete.
Morning..sort of! I am a bit late getting this one up. Sorry! We are playing with trees today. And boy, does Unity have TREES! :) Stamps:Flourishing Family Tree Ink: memento Paper: PTI kraft Accessories: copic marker, fancy pants velvet ribbon and trim
I just love this quote from the August Kit of the Month. I am not a huge risk taker but I know you gotta take them to live, right? :) This card was my attempt at yesterday's color challenge and today's sketch challenge on SCS. I strayed quite a bit.....forgive me. Now I am off to take the boys to the pool and enjoy the sun...it ended up only being 94 degrees. :)
I am! Another day in the 100s here. HOT! HOT! HOT! I am still on eastern time, going to bed way before my usual bedtime which has cut into my craft time. Here are some quick and easy cards that I made with the Jolly By Golly line from Cosmo Cricket. I am so ready for winter....or at least fall! :) Enjoy your Wednesday! :)
